
Kris Schlotzhauer is back and we are so happy!
Kris who owned and operated AO Pasta for five years on Wellington St has just opened Fatta Pasta off the Erie St parking lot.
Easy to find! From Wellington St go through Allen’s Alley and hang a left and walk until you see the adorable black awning and blade sign, both handmade by two of Kris’ artsy friends!
Upon the closing of AO Pasta in 2023, Kris and his family tried life in San Jose, Costa Rica for a while. Once returned, Kris worked at Ontario Home Health but in the end his love of a cooking pulled him back to a kitchen.
Several different types of pasta (made with durum semolina flour from Blyth) – spaghetti, bucatini, fettuccine, rigatoni, fusilli, radiatori, tortiglioni – are made fresh every couple days in the expansive open kitchen. Stuffed ravioli is also available. Homemade sauces of all types – tomato , spicy, cream, pestos – make it difficult to choose! You can also “grab and go” a variety of add ons to elevate your take home pasta meal such as guanciale, sausage and cheeses.



Kris is experimenting right now too on the best formula for drying his pasta. So that you can stock your pantry with dry and your fridge with fresh!



Hours right now are 11am to 3pm Tuesdays and 11am to 4pm Wednesday through Friday. Closed weekends.
