A very warm welcome to Conestoga College that opened its doors to a brand new space at the start of September.
Robin Ritz, Program Coordinator, has been with Conestoga since 2012 and is truly excited about the new facility and the career-oriented programs they now have the capacity to offer.
This campus of Conestoga offers a variety of valuable skills training, including: academic upgrading; payroll and book-keeping, Introduction to Computers; Early Childhood Education, and Personal Support Worker training held in a decked out mock hospital room with relevant equipment.
The facility also offers a one-year Event Management course that booked up so quickly they changed their plans to accommodate more students!
There are 5 to 6 teachers on staff with in-classroom instruction taking place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and classes by zoom on Monday and Friday.
The new 204-square-metre (22,000-square-feet) facility, when renovations to the second floor are complete, will have a student capacity of 800. Roughly 75 students are enrolled in this new fall semester.

The college has had a presence in Stratford since the 70’s, offering academic upgrading, commercial, technical and medical studies to the community. The school is thrilled to continue its legacy in our city and to invest in the community as it grows into this new location. We are excited to see have this new student population contribute to the vibrancy of our downtown!
