Stratford swans are set to be released from their cozy winter home into the Avon River this Sunday, April 6 at approximately 2:00pm.
🦢+🌷= SPRING and we're so excited!

The Stratford Police Pipes and Drums Band will lead a short procession from Morenz Drive to the river, but remember the parade is short and sweet! 10 minutes at the most. So we welcome you to explore all Downtown Stratford has to offer ~ from the quaint shops, cafes and restaurants to the art-adorned walls and unique galleries.

Applications for the 2025 Outdoor Patio Program will open on Monday, March 31st 2025.

Businesses who are interested in participating in the program will need to submit the following to the Clerk’s Office:

2025 licence fee of $663.00 and $2.86 per square foot;
The licence fee of $663.00 will be required at the time of application submission.
The square footage fee will be calculated at the time of inspection and must be paid prior to the licence being issued.
Copy of the current certificate of insurance for the business;
Minimum of $5 million lability.
Master Business License/Vendor’s Permit (if applicable);
Approved AGCO Liquor License (if applicable);
Detailed drawing or sketch of interior and exterior plans as required in the Outdoor Patio Guidelines – these drawings must be submitted yearly; and,
Supporting documents for patio tent(s) (if applicable) as required in the Outdoor
Patio Guidelines.

Lots of fun had by all this morning at the BIA Coffee Club, hosted by Stewart and Amber at Taylor’s Deli! Thank you @taylors_deli for the coffee and scrumptious homemade cookies!

Coffee Club is held the last Thursday of every month from 8:30am-9:45am for BIA members/downtown employees.
