A very warm welcome to Dr. Vanessa Rondinelli, OBGYN, to Downtown Stratford. Conveniently located next to Shoppers Drugmart, the office is newly renovated, with bright, modern features and the very latest in medical equipment.
Wanting to be a doctor since she was a little girl in Vaughn, Vanessa has truly made her dreams come true! Following her undergrad at Western, Vanessa went to the Caribbean for her medical degree. This degree included valuable experience working in the field in Brooklyn, NY and England. Her 4-year residency was in Michigan where she ended up practicing until arriving in Stratford in February this year.
It was during her rotation period of training that she fell in love with all things under the obstetrics/gynecology umbrella. She loves the diverse working environment that includes the hospital, the operating room and the clinic, and providing women quality care.
Vanessa has hit the ground running since taking on hospital privileges in February and late this summer opening her own clinic. At the Stratford hospital she has already birthed well over 100 babies, including four sets of twins! On Labour Day alone this year (irony not lost here) she delivered seven babies! Her clinic does require a referral and an appointment is approximately an 8-10 month wait.
Outside of work, Vanessa and her husband (a local dentist) are enjoying getting to know Stratford with their daughter (5 years) and son (2 years). They are loving it here, appreciating all that Stratford has to offer!
