June marks the start of Bike Month, World Cycle Day (June 3rd), and (hooray) our Downtown Stratford Car-Free Friday events (first one Friday, June 7, 8-10am). We’re welcoming another year of celebrating active transportation and getting to work car-free. The first of three Car-Free Friday events start June 7 from 8-10am. And this year we’re doing things a little differently. Our SPONSOR for our first Car-Free Friday is KDB Law. Join us in their awesomely located corner parking lot, in the heart of our downtown, for summer-vibes music, side-walk chalk art, a fabulous giveaway (valued up to $400), and more.
What is Car-Free Friday? It’s a celebration in active transportation. An opportunity to experience the joy of cycling, rolling, bussing, cruising to work without your car. Come down for free coffee & juice, enter our giveaway, receive bike repair demos, register your bike, talk to our many special guests.
